2023 was a crazy year for me.

My wife and I relocated from California to North Carolina. I launched a landing page course for $97. And then I relaunched it for $1. I was inconsistent with my writing.

I also learned what I didn’t like and what I should do to continue growing as an online writer.

I noticed James Clear and David Perell have a similar year in review. So, I’m trying out the same thing.

What Did I Love In 2023?

I loved writing online.

2023 was a whirlwind of a year. But I always felt energized when I was writing.

Writing kept me thinking. I felt like I was unlocking my experiences. I loved writing on Medium, sharing copywriting examples, and being active on social media.

I also learned more about myself in my writing than in the last ten years. It’s wild what you learn about yourself when you keep writing, even after years of doing it. Part of that is because I’m a classic overthinker.

Writing allows me to pour ideas and experiences onto a page, forcing me to say it straight without overthinking.
