I know prospecting is a numbers game. I know that it can be a challenge to find prospects as a freelancer. You’re doing everything yourself — sales, marketing, writing, accounting, and everything else.

As a freelancer, you’re trying to be seen by potential clients.

In my five years as a freelancer, I’ve discovered three sneaky good ways to stand out and find clients.

Send a Loom with suggestions

I’ve come to love this technique for finding clients.

Whenever I connect with a potential client on LI, I’ll send a personalized LI message that offers a 1 -2-minute review of their website. I tell them what’s vague and what doesn’t work.

This method has helped me find clients. Even for people who don’t need copywriting they still appreciate you taking the time to learn about their business and sending them a personalized video.
