3 Underrated Mindsets for Writing
Believe in these things, and you’ll write so much more.
The first step to writing is believing in yourself.
Create a positive mindset. Give yourself confidence. I’ve learned to do that over the years, especially as a parent of four kids. I’m exhausted. I’m unmotivated. I’m not always in the right mindset.
That’s why I changed my mindset about writing. I create a mindset shift that enables me to write more.
These three underrated mindsets will change your world as a writer.
1. I Can Write From Anywhere
I love writing at my desk. I feel comfortable. I often work my best at a desk.
But things change from day to day. Sometimes I’m at a coffee shop or a library. Sometimes I’m outside. Sometimes I look for a place to write because I want to write.
Tell yourself that you can write from anywhere. Don’t limit where you can write.
2. I Can Write When I Don’t Feel Like It
Motivation is excellent for writing. It’s also terrible if you don’t feel like writing.
Don’t let motivation dictate your writing. Create systems that dictate your writing.
