90% of your success as a freelancer is dependent on systems.

10% is built on your motivation.

I used to think of it in reverse — I need 90% motivation and 10% systems. I eventually learned that you don't have a business if you don’t have systems to guide your business.

If you want to level up your freelance business, follow these systems I like to use.

1. Schedule Your Content

Scheduling your content works for you in two ways:

  1. You’re not scrambling (last-minute panic) to post something on social or write an article.
  2. You’re creating passive leads. Creating consistent content will give you endless opportunities because your work lives on the internet forever.

I love scheduling content a week or two in advance.

For LinkedIn and Twitter, I like to repost things after a few months. It gives me a mental break from trying to come up with new topics.

For writing articles, I have a Notion document I lean on for ideas and always write a day or two ahead.

2. Consistent Outreach
