The parallel is “refreshingly simple and remarkable effective”. Similar two-word pattern.

Like music, writing has rhythm.

Cadence makes your copywriting spark and stands out. There’s personality in your writing. But how do you add rhythm to your landing pages or even website and emails? How do you give it that rhythm?

There are four ways I’ve learned to do it.

1. Parallel structure

What is parallel structure in writing and copywriting?

Parallel structure is a pattern of words that demonstrates equal importance of two or more words. They have the same grammatical context. I know, that was a mouthful. So let me show you examples.

  • More words. More money
  • Caffiene infused, protein powered

These words have similar cadence and structure. They add rhythm to your copywriting, your landing page.

2. Anaphora

What in the world is anaphora?

Anaphora is a figure of speech. You’re saying something is like something. It’s words repeating at the beginning of successive clauses, phrases, or sentences. Let’s look at examples.

  • Go big or go home
