They know how to write copy that converts prospects.

Here are five secrets I’ve learned from the best copywriters.

1. Observe. Observe. Observe

Great copywriters are observers.

To capture emotion, you need to observe emotion. Observe the world around you. Notice the little things.

Write about those little things. Make notes about them. You’ll capture so much detail in your writing.

2. Walk In the Customer’s Shoes

It’s one thing to talk to a customer; it’s another to walk in their shoes.

Learn their pain. When you understand a customer's emotional pain, you understand how they feel. It makes copywriting so much easier.

Make understanding the customer part of your research process.
