5 Things In Life That Inspire Me to Write Better
From being a dad to waking up before everyone else.
Life has a way of always changing. As a kid, I thought I’d live in the same city and ride my bike to my grandparent's house twice a week for the rest of my life.
Life changes.
Just this past year, I relocated to North Carolina from California. I’m in a new place with my wife and kids. New adventures. New places. New friends. New everything. And that’s scary (and exciting), at least for me.
That’s why I love to write. I love to share new things that inspire me in life. They inspire me to write. They inspire me to look for a new adventure.
1. My four kids
My four kids are the inspiration behind my writing.
I love writing because of my kids. They are creative and fun and challenge me every day. I love being a parent. Of course, there are some tough moments.
My four kids inspire me to tell better stories. I love getting them to laugh on walks. I love hearing their stories at school. I love seeing their mind absorb the world as they learn something new. It reminds me that I need to have fun with what I do. I need to be more like my kids.
