My garage is my workspace.

On September 15th, 2022, I jumped into full-time freelancing.

I could tell you that I regularly send out $7,500 invoices, exercise 4 hours a day, and spend another 2 hours at the beach with my wife and kids.

Not true.

My days are scrambled. My days are wild. My days are different each day.

I still love what I do. I just have to improve on it. I just have to adjust and figure out what works best.

This is freelancing.

An Inside Look at My Freelance Schedule

5:47 am — I wake up after smacking the snooze button repeatedly.

6:04 am — I realize I’ve spent 17 minutes on Wordle.

6:08 am — Kids wake up. On rare days, I’m blessed until 6:34. Also down my first cup of coffee.

7:04 am — Morning walk with kids while I subconsciously think, “what in the world am I going to post on LinkedIn today?”

7:14 am — Kids are fighting on the walk and waking up neighbors. Run back home. Nay, sprint back home.

8:07 am — Time to write my first LinkedIn post of the day. Submit. Wait. Edit…
