Figure Out Your Weaknesses If You Want to Be a Better Writer
Make your weakness your strength.
The word focus, in the scientific Latin of the 17th century, was defined as light rays converging.
We now use the word focus to mean the center of our activity; the point we are trying to reach. We are bringing all of our attention to focus on something in particular.
As a writer, I struggle with focus. I’m distracted by social media, online chess & daydreaming. Every writer has a weakness, and mine isn’t something I try to hide.
Now I’m learning how to make these weaknesses a strength. I’m learning how I can benefit from my weaknesses, and you can too.
Make Your Weakness a Reward

One of the ways you can make your weakness your strength is by rewarding yourself.
If you’re like me and social media is your weakness, then try limiting your time on social media. Give yourself a time limit of how long you’ll be on social. media each day.
