2024 was my first full year of freelancing.

Before this year, I freelanced part-time as a teacher or a copywriter at an agency. But this year was the jump into the chaotic, head-pounding world of freelancing.

That doesn’t mean I don’t love it (even with all the head pounding). I discovered what I liked and didn’t like about it. I had a great year financially — making $106,000. I also made a lot of mistakes.

Here’s everything I learned and how it can help you.

My Revenue Streams (Rough Averages)

  • Client Work (landing pages; retainer, email copy): $102,000
  • Landing Page Course: $105 (currently 103 people bought for $1!)
  • Medium: $2,400 (between $100 and $300 a month)
  • Consulting Calls: $1,985 ($397 per call)

This is how my revenue is broken down. One of the things I enjoyed was creating a course, writing on Medium, and consulting calls.

I hardly made any from them, but I want to double down on them.
