Sit down. Drink coffee. Write. Write some more. Look at the clouds. Look at your empty cup of coffee. Try to write. Get more coffee. Write some more.

That’s how my life looks.

Granted, writing is different for everybody. As someone with five kids, it’s hard to find that time. My kids are between the ages of one and nine. They get up early. They need me.

It’s also why I spend time overthinking the writing process.

Here’s how you can do the same.

Choose Three Topics That You’re Passionate About

Write about what you want to write about and not the stuff that you think will make you money.

If you want your personality and passion to be seen in your writing, then you care about what you’re writing about. Because when you care, your readers care.

I love writing about entrepreneurship, copywriting, and positioning, and everything I’m learning as a writer.

Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it helpful? To some readers, it is.

Your writing is never about helping thousands. You’re not feeding the masses. You’re giving one person…
