I love writing every day.

While it works for me, it may not work for everyone. Writing every day requires time and effort. You need ideas and time to edit.

Some people write slowly. Some people write fast. Some people write in silence. Some people write in coffee shops. Ultimately, you have to find what works for you.

Over time, I’ve learned what works for me.

I Write Down My Ideas

Finding ideas isn’t about knowing when to turn on the light bulb. It’s more about never turning off the light bulb.

I don’t sit at my computer for 30 minutes thinking about what to write. I’m always searching for ideas. When I’m at the park, on walks, in the shower, or whatever I’m doing throughout the day.

Most of my ideas come from:

  • Sharing what I discovered
  • Writing about my process
  • Writing about my ambitions

I Don’t Overthink It

Stop comparing your writing to other writers.

You’re good enough. Writing is a skill that is developed over time. Your writing habit is shaped over time.
