If you want to become a writing machine, you need to become an idea machine.

You need to constantly find new ideas to write about.

Except, not every idea you find is going to be great. When I started creating content online, I realized that not every idea gets attention. Some ideas are terrible.

But that shouldn’t stop you from writing online. If you want to avoid the dreaded blank page, you need a place to house your ideas. This house is where your ideas are protected.

If you want more ideas to write about, you need the house of writing system: A 3-part process for creating more content.

1. Idea Intro

You need to protect your ideas from escaping your brain.

The best way to do that is to always have a way to document your ideas. Put them down and trap them.

  1. When on your phone, use the notes app
  2. When on your computer, use NotionHQ
  3. When you’re reading, have a notebook next to you
  4. When you’re walking, have a pocket notebook

2. Idea Analysis
