If you are a freelancer, this number clearly means you’re not the only specialist in your field. It means you aren’t the only fiction, romance writer or 3D graphics video editor. In other words, it’s harder for you to stand out amongst the crowd of millions of freelancers who are trying to find the same clients as you.
This is freelancing. There’s freedom to work at home in your PJs. You can sleep in. Welcome to the “I work from home and in my PJs” when someone asks what you do.
You can do WHATEVER you want. Except you also have to make money while you enjoy the luxuries of home life.
So, before you slip on your pj’s and order some pizza, you need to figure out how to find clients and how they can find you.
