I’ve spent years figuring out how to find freelance clients.

I cold-emailed, posted on social, applied for freelance jobs, and cold called. I made mistakes. And more mistakes. Until I finally figured out a winning recipe for finding freelance clients.

My approach won’t help you make six figures. To earn more, you need to be organized, know your ideal clients, know what you offer, and be wildly consistent.

Having said that, I can give you my approach to finding clients that helped me.

Here’s my approach to finding freelance clients in four simple steps.

1. Consistent LinkedIn posts that call out your prospects

I’ve spent the last nine months posting on LinkedIn. At first, I had no idea what I was doing.

In the last three months, I’ve found clients through a new strategy:

  • Post every day on LinkedIn
  • Call out my prospects
  • Tell your prospects how you help them solve a problem
