Your brand voice is what gives your brand a personality.

Every brand has a voice. Sometimes it’s quirky and weird. Sometimes it’s formal and authoritative. Sometimes it’s goofy and funny.

When you’ve nailed your brand voice, you know how to make your brand stand out from your competitors.

The question is: how do you find your brand voice?

Ask the Right Questions

Finding your brand voice is about asking the right questions:

  • What words describe my voice?
  • What tone am I talking to my customers? Serious? Funny? Cheeky?
  • What specific phrases will my customers remember my brand for?
  • Is it more conversational or more formal?
  • Do we use emojis for everything?

When you answer these questions, you have a clearer idea of what you want your brand voice to sound like.
