When I started posting on LinkedIn, my only goal was consistency.

For the last 6 months, I’ve shown up nearly every day on LinkedIn. And now, I have nearly 8k followers, I’ve worked with seven clients from LinkedIn, and I’ve built my email list.

My goal is not to brag but to show you the power of consistency. The question is — what kind of consistency do you need on LinkedIn?

Here are 5 easy steps I’ve taken to master LinkedIn that’s helped me be consistent.

Follow your favorite creators

The first step is to follow your favorite creators — Click their bell on their profile and be notified when they post.

You’re going to do this for two reasons:

  1. You are the first to leave a thoughtful comment — thousands of people who see the post will also see your comment.
  2. You study and learn how they post. You learn how they hook readers and structure their posts.

Create a posting schedule

A posting schedule makes you accountable.
