How to Structure Your Landing Page
A simple structure to guide your copywriting.
Every landing page needs structure to maximize conversions.
Structuring your landing page helps guide the reader. You introduce value, back it up, make it easy, and add more testimonials. But it’s easier said than done.
If you know the messaging but you have no idea how to structure your landing page, try this structuring framework.
I’ve found it helpful in my landing page and hundreds of landing pages I’ve written for clients.
Here’s how to structure your landing page.
Above the fold includes a header, subheader, and image
Above the fold is where you include all the necessary information for the reader.
- Header (makes a clear promise)
- Subheader (explains the value of the promise)
- Image (let the users visualize using the product)
- Clear call to action (show a call to value instead of a call to action)
- Social proof (validate your offer)
Collectively, these ingredients are above the fold — information for the reader before they scroll further down.
