My 60-Day Twitter Thread Experiment
Why I’m experimenting on Twitter and what I hope to accomplish.
As a content creator, you have to love experimenting.
When you treat content as an experiment, you’re more willing to keep going. You’re a scientist who’s willing to try new things.
I love experimenting. I’ve done it on Medium, writing an article for nearly 4 straight months. And now writing on Medium is a habit.
I’m doing something similar on Twitter. This week I started experimenting with Twitter threads. I have around 500 followers and want to experiment with growth.
Here’s my game plan for the next 60 days on Twitter.
Experiment with different kinds of Twitter threads
So far, I’ve experimented with long-form and short-form Twitter threads.
If you want to write a thread that includes 15 tweets, it may take you a lot of time and energy to research and put it together. I don’t want to exhaust myself from putting together threads.
I want to write about what I really enjoy — something I discovered/experienced and want to share. I also want to experiment with different hooks that introduce my threads.
