My Simple Strategy for Conquering LinkedIn
How to create more opportunities on LinkedIn.
For the last 18 months, I’ve posted nearly every day on LinkedIn.
I’ve had posts bomb. I’ve had posts go viral. The most important thing was that I just kept posting. I kept learning from my audience and what people liked.
The hardest thing was finding my voice, especially when you’re surrounded by thought leaders (and almost thought leaders).
In the last few months, I’ve nailed a strategy for finding clients, having fun, and posting consistently on LinkedIn.
Connect and Engage With Others on a Deeper Level
For some reason, people think engaging with others means leaving comments on their posts.
It’s kinda like waving to someone on a walk. It’s nice, but it literally does nothing. You need to do more than that.
Don’t just engage with others on their account. Have a conversation with them. Reach out to them in the DM without pitching. If I see that they are from a certain city, I’ll mention something about that city. Or I’ll say something about their business.
My goal is to get to know people. Support them. Learn about them.
