What makes a good writer?

Good writing isn’t dependent on first tries. If that were true, I would be a failure. Many writers would be failures.

People who want to be writers often compare themselves to others writers. Beginning writers often assess their grammar, experience, prose, and environment to determine if they can be good writers.

But what if I told you that none of that matters? What matters is that you have the right mindset of a writer determined to succeed.

The old way of writing is:

  • I can’t write because I make mistakes
  • I can’t write because I don’t have the experience
  • I can’t write because I’m
