Two Words That Create Endless Stories

We’re only limited by our imagination.

What if you wrote for five minutes today?

What if you wrote a story about sitting at your desk, daydreaming as you looked at the window, when you noticed a dragon swooping down from the high heavens and through the white fluffy clouds?

What if the dragon landed in front of your bedroom window and asked for your help to defeat an evil king who was actually your dearest friend who disappeared thirteen years ago?

What if you said yes?

Write More What Ifs

Neil Gaiman likes to play the what-if game. He talks about it in his Masterclass on writing stories.

Like Gaiman, I believe in writing stories for the sake of writing stories. Forget the outline. Forget the plot and subplot. Just write. And do it with conviction. Do it with curiosity, imagination, and a desire to tell a story you believe the world needs to read.

Let your imagination escape beyond the moon. The best way to do that is to write.

Let Your Mind Wander

You don’t have to be productive every minute of your day to tell better stories.
