What I Learned From My Best Performing Posts On LinkedIn

Why being relatable is an underrated superpower.

When I started consistently writing on LinkedIn in 2022, I was probably one of the cringest writers on that platform.

I tried to sound like a thought leader. And I’m not.

The problem with LinkedIn (and social media) today is that we try so hard to be like other creators. We try to mimic their style. Along the way, we lose our voice, style, and personality.

These posts showed why I love leaning more into my personality.

Be Relatable

The post below came from the idea that many of us never truly finish our New Year’s goals.

So, I took what everyone said about New Year’s goals and spun it in another direction. I made it more realistic and relatable.

In another post, I talked about writing advice from parents vs. those who aren’t parents and how different it is.

People love relatability because it feels like you understand them.
