Why I’m Rewatching Breaking Bad for the Umpteenth Time

You forget what it’s like to watch good TV.

I’m a TV snob and a movie snob because I like watching stuff that is actually worth watching.

I don’t just watch TV to watch something. I scour the ratings, see what IMDB rated the show. I check Rotten Tomatoes. I don’t want to waste my time watching a 6.4 IMDB rated movie.

Regardless of your taste or my taste in shows, we should all agree that Breaking Bad is on the Mount Rushmore of TV shows. It defined binge-watching. Every season topped the next season in such a way you wondered how it was even possible.

And it’s why I’m watching it for the umpteenth time. If you are stuck in a cycle of waiting for a new show to come along or you need some adrenaline-pumping show in your life, then watch Breaking Bad.

Seriously, watch it.

The Storytelling Is Remarkable

“Dear Hollywood, stop rewriting the same stories.”

So many movies fall under the same storytelling rubric. Good guys vs. Bad guys. Good guys fight bad guys and fail the first time, and then defeat them the second time.
